Hey guys! It's been a long time since I last been active on this account.

The reason why I'm posting this journal is because by the end of this year, the Adobe Flash plugin is going to be discontinued, killing off Flash for good.

Flash has been a huge part of many of our childhood memories and it's sad to see it go. I think it's awful how a plugin that significantly built the internet community to what it is today is not only leaving but is leaving in such an unceremonious way.

What made flash so important was that it gave regular people online a creative voice.

Before it, the only content that could be created and shared were only from the big guys at Hollywood who controlled film and television, or the game developers who worked on triple A titles. There was almost no such thing as "indie" back then.

But with flash, anyone could make an animation. Anyone could make a game. Anyone could go online and creatively express themselves and their ideas, and you didn't need to graduate from college and work in media or the game industry to do so. From a huge corporation to a kid in school, anyone can make anything on Flash and upload it to the internet. Flash and early websites like Newgrounds were the soil that helped build the foundation and culture of places like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Tik Tok.

Flash was the Prometheus Fire, but now it's burning out.

I was introduced to Flash as early as 2004. I grew up playing Box Heads, Bloons, Incredibots, Thing Thing, Mausland games, Tactical Assassin, and other games. I even grew up playing the weird and crappy dress up and cooking games for girls. I spent a lot of my time going on Crazy Monkey Games, Newgrounds, Ninja Kiwi, Game Fudge, and other websites.

I started making my own Flash stuff in middle school. For 8 years, I would make a bunch of animations and games with them, and as you can clearly see on my YouTube and DeviantArt channel, I had a good time. We all had a great time. :)

I was getting ready for this day for more than a year. In 2019, I made a journal of possibly releasing some of my unfinished games, games that were either too unfinished or cringey to release. I asked people to vote on the ones that they wanted to see, so the votes were in and I went silent. I'm really sorry I didn't deliver on that day. I made that post on the last week I was going to go back to school, only to realize that I had to leave home earlier than I expected.

To make it up for you, I'm going to release not only the ones you asked for, but all of the ones on the list!

I just want to have one last Flash party before we have to move on to stuff like Toon Boom or Unity or something.

It's a big thank you to Flash for everything it's done.

My games are going to be up on the day this journal goes up, and they are going to stay up until Flash is gone.

I want to thank the people who played my games and the friends I met here who helped make my games by helping me code them. I couldn't have done anything without any of you.

Ever since the news that the Flash plugin is going to be phased out in 2020, the Flash category on DeviantArt is full of nothing but absolute crap these days. It's like the website moderators don't even care anymore. I remember back in the early days of my account when the Flash category was full of creative and inventive stuff. Sure there were bad beginner games/animations and sure there was useless garbage like porn, "Spanish Buttons", or those people who just post videos they stole off of YouTube, but it was overall full of pretty wholesome and genuine content. Even the bad beginner stuff was good to see too. I remember all those great stick figure fight animations, all those great and simple interactive stuff like those customization games, all those really good animations that had so much effort put into them. Those were the good times, but now it's all gone.

What do we have now in 2019? Nothing but trash. It's literally the dumpster of Deviant Art, where people dump art they don't know where to categorize. They also dump art they don't need or care about. A category that was once full of great and awesome stuff is now saturated with junk art and porn. Seriously, when the f*ck did the category start accepting image files? I haven't seen anything Flash on that category since then. Here's some of the absolute crap that's on that category now: random pictures from "artists" who don't care or weird nerds, hentai, uncensored porn, creepy and weird fetish pictures, and a bunch of those stupid "twins" fetish pictures from "doublekids07". He's an absolute weirdo.

The Flash category has truly fallen from grace. It's a shame one of the best categories on this site and the reason I created a DeviantArt account to begin with didn't go out with a bang but with a crappy anime orgasm.
I assume that by January 2020 when the Flash plugin is going to be discontinued, DeviantArt is going to get rid of the Flash category since there would be no point in having it on the site now. I am both sad but happy. It's about time to put that category out of its misery. It doesn't deserve to be treated like a trash can any longer.

Rest in Peace, Flash Category.

Hey guys, long time no see. I finally got back to my old computer this summer: my good old HP All-in-One from 2012. It's been about two years or more since I last used it for making animations or games. Anyway, I was cleaning the hard drive one day, since my computer was so slow, and I found all of my old projects stored in my external disk. I found stuff that date back from 2012 to 2016; most if not all of them being prototypes that are completely unfinished, broken, or abandoned. All of them are overall horrible trashy flash games that make me cringe when playing them and I didn't know what to do with them at first. I was deciding whether to keep the trash or spread the trash on this site, but like the "Oscar the Grouch" that I am, I decided to release some of them this year in their broken, unfinished, state; and at the right time too (Adobe will completely kill off the Flash plugin in 2020)

I wanted this to be something fun, so I'm going to allow people who see this journal to vote on what games I should salvage. You are limited to 3 votes only. I'm going to write a list of all of the stuff that I found, and you can vote, based on the name, on what game you want to see. There's only going to be three games, and the rest are going to reside in my hard-drive for the rest of their miserable lives. So, for the people who are reading this...

Have Fun!

TIP: The newer the game is, the better the programming is. The older the game is, the more weirder it is.
NAMES OF THE GAMES (Yes, these are the actual names of the files):
  • Sniper Game 1 (2013)
  • Sniper Game 2 (2016) (My vote goes to this one)
  • EPIC GAME! (2016)
  • Fluttershy Shooting SHIT (2013)
  • Shoot Loot: The 3rd Person Shooter (2013)
  • The Domestic Sniper (2012)
  • Brony Defense (2012)
  • Brony Defense 2 (2012)
  • Colgate's New Way (2012)
  • Kill the Hater (2012)
  • Sniper Shot (2012)
  • Shot Alot 2 (2013)
  • Save the Cuties with an Uzi (2013) (My vote goes to this one)
  • 2013: The Game (2013)
  • Five Days at Freddy's 3: The FPS Shooter (2015) (My vote goes to this one)
  • Destroy DeviantArt 2 (2016)
  • Jelly Blaster a.k.a. The Adventures of Bob (2015)
  • Turret Game (2014)
  • The Game that Mocks You (2013)
  • 2000X1: Stick Shoot Out (2012)
  • Fluttershy Game_Shooting (2013)

I decided to retire from making flash games and flash animations soon in the future. From what I heard from many people, flash is dead. People now these days move on to much more professional game making software such as Unity, Gamemaker, and other software out there. People are also switching from Flash animation to programs such as Toon Boom Harmony, Anime Studio, and other programs. I've been planning a few years ago to finally retire from Flash and move on, and now it's about time. I've been using Flash for five years and it's golden years are officially gone with the discontinuation of AS2 and the 2000s. My zombie game really came to show that nobody cares for Flash anymore. People at my college say things like "Who still uses Flash?" or "Flash is dead". I think they're right.

I think it's a good thing: I don't have to deal with Flash's bullshit anymore and the other programs definitely offer me way more tools and creative input. I have ToonBoom harmony and Anime Studio working on my laptop, but I'm currently struggling to get them working on my Desktop. I'm currently trying to learn and teach myself how to use the programs for animation use (and soon for animated series use). But as for making games, I have a lot to learn. I not only need to figure out how to use the program, but I also need to learn Python or Java or whatever shit is out there. There's going to be a huge ass learning curve ahead of me.

I'm currently working on two animated projects, one of them being Angry Birds Animated Parody 3 Part 1 (This parody will be split into two parts due to length and the time I have left to work on this thing). Part 2 of ABAP3 might be released around 2018, the latest 2019, and will be the last Flash animation I will ever make and the last Angry Birds parody ever. By that time, I should move on to much better animation software out there and move on to a ton of ideas for newer animations. The other project I'm working on is a secret animation, possibly a "pilot" to an animated series. I got voice actors to do their lines around mid-2016 and I was working on the animation since then. It's almost done and I only have two scenes left before I export, edit, and compose/steal music.

My last flash game will be a remake and sequel to my Zombie game. I'm not sure when it will be released, but it won't be any time too soon. Expect around 2018 or even 2020. I'm implementing a completely new engine in the game and I haven't worked on it since 2016. I had tons of flash game projects I wanted to get to but I think I should cancel them all. If you really want to see/play them. I will be uploading them to my new website, which is still currently under construction and will be released this year around the same time as ABAP3 and my "pilot" episode. It's an archive/blog/wiki/documentation website on me and my projects. I think it's worth visiting when it's released.

Other than that, I will still work on my personal projects and I will still keep on creating in the future (just without flash).
